Grapes Anyone?

While I realize this picture doesn't even come close to the amount of grapes in my home right now. I wanted to at least try to show you what I scored while at Harris Teeter yesterday. Keyword: yesterday...lots of grapes are now missing (oops!)
Anyway, I hit up the Quick Sale rack at a local market around 4:15 in the afternoon. I purchased approximately 6 pounds of grapes for $2.00!!! Yes you read correctly $2.00. These usually run $2.99 PER POUND!!! Needless to say, I was super excited about the grape score. Now we can freeze some for a yummo snack since we are experiencing some unusually warm weather!!

Another great deal I found recently....my friend Hana and I were shopping late last Tuesday (like 9pm, the end of triples) when we scored a bag(s) of slightly overripe Organic bananas for $.70 THEN after we departed the Teeter I ran in Lowes Foods for a last minute frozen food deal (had MIR for) and noticed Organic milk Reduced to $1.25 for a gallon!!! I was super excited!!!!!!!!

ALL of this to say...sometimes TIME doesn't really matter when you score a deal at the grocery store....ALWAYS look when you are there, you never know what you may find!

Have you stumbled on an awesome deal lately??Pin It

I always check the Closeout Refrig Section in Lowes. They often have OJ and Milk at a lower price. You can't combine coupons with the discounted price so it's usually not worth it to buy closeout yogurt and cream cheese. I also check the Bags of Salad in the Produce section. I've been pretty lucky at finding bags that only have a day or two left marked down with a little bitty sticker that says "Special Sale Today".
