A Cry for Help: Recipe Needed!!

Does any know of a recipe (off the top of your head) that calls for 1 stick butter (1/2 c butter) and 1 1/2 cups of sugar. I have those to ingredients already mixed but no recipe. To be honest, I messed up a recipe and now HATE to waste them....
PLEASE HELP!!

1/2 c butter
1/2 c shirtening
1.5c granulated sugar
2 eggs
2.75c all-purpose flour
2 t cream of tartar
1 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
2 t ground cinnamon

mix butter, shortening, sugar and eggs until well blended
Shape dough by rounded teaspoonsfuls into balls
Combine cinnamon and 2T sugar
Roll balls in cinnamon-sugar mixture and bake 400' 8-10 minutes; December 6, 2010 at 3:38 PM
